RAW Photo Processing with Darktable

This talk is going to be a overview of RAW photo processing in Darktable with a brief overview of the project. Darktable is a free and open source RAW processing application with a different approach to color and post processing than what most photographers are expecting. However it is very capable of producing professional level results. Starting off with a brief explanation of the scene-referred workflow and how to translate that into making images and being productive in the software and get consistent output.

Attendees should have a bare minimum understanding of basic digital photography concepts but it is very beginner friendly.

Darktable runs on Linux, FreeBSD, macOS and Windows so this talk will be accessible to anyone running those systems. I will be using Fedora Workstation but Darktable looks and acts largely the same on all platforms.
